The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report an average of 34,000 gun deaths a year.
Of those, 12,000 are homicides and 21,000 are suicides (62%)
Another 78,000 firearm injuries are reported each year.
The gun homicide rate in America is 25 times higher than in other developed countries.
That’s about 90 AMERICANS dead and 216 INJURED each and every day.
